Michael T. Donnelly II is a former member of the United States Air Force and a veteran of the first Gulf War – Operation Desert Storm. After leaving the military, he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and continued on to receive his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2003. Mr. Donnelly is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts as well as the Federal Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He has been a resident of Brevard County for over forty years and is a member of both the Florida and Brevard County Bar Associations.

Mr. Donnelly is a former prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office here in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, where he handled hundreds of cases, representing the State of Florida in countless hearings and numerous jury and non-jury trials, in cases including Driving Under the Influence (DUI), and other criminal traffic offenses, Battery, Possession of Cannabis and Drug Paraphernalia, Theft Offenses and Violations of Probation.

After entering private practice in 2006, Mr. Donnelly has gained extensive experience in the defense of all felony and misdemeanor criminal charges including Burglary, Possession of Controlled Substances, Grand Theft, and Violations of Probation.

In addition to criminal defense, Mr. Donnelly also represents Brevard County’s residents in a wide variety of family law matters including Contested and Uncontested Divorce, Child Custody (Paternity), Guardianships, Adoptions, Injunctions and Dependency cases.

In 2010, Mr. Donnelly partnered with John Albert to form the Law Office of Albert & Donnelly, LLC, expanding his family law practice to include Collaborative Law and serve as a Guardian ad Litem in paternity and dissolution of marriage cases involving minor children.
